ORNL is investing in our nuclear facilities to ensure the directorate goals are met and strategies are executed.
To support and protect our assets we are hiring Group Lead, Asset Management Work Execution to lead the development and implementation of best practices and standards for maintaining and improving equipment reliability, decreasing downtime, and improving the overall manufacturing output and isotope research capabilities.
A successful candidate in this key leadership role will utilize knowledge in the leadership of asset management work execution to ensure optimum resource utilization, high quality work, proper asset care, and documenting equipment conditions with all work properly recorded.
The candidate will have a significant track record in implementing and improving asset management programs.
Major Duties and
Responsibilities:
Manage the maintenance of ORNL's nonreactor nuclear facilities by leading five supervisors to expertly care for associated infrastructure and processing equipment.
Partner with directorate leadership, isotope manufacturing, R&D, maintenance teams and engineering to ensure equipment improvements are achieved through standardized asset management programs and techniques.
Ensure Asset Management team considers analysis of internal and external operating environments, including technical requirements, strategic improvement initiatives, and compliance requirements.
Establish and maintain collaborative and effective partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure Asset Management meets business objectives.
Assures that supervisors and craft have the requisite skills, knowledge, training, and tools to perform work in Hazard Category 2 and 3 nuclear facilities.
Manage personnel resources to optimize 'wrench-time'.
Partner with the Asset Management Work Coordination team to ensure scheduled work can be executed as planned.
Ensures break-in work is updated on the daily schedule.
Follow and advocate prescribed roadmap and strategies to move the organization forward through an Asset Management maturation process Establish KPI's in accountable areas to monitor and identify improvement areas.
Promote a culture of reliability across all levels of the organization through training and by setting the example.
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus 8
years of relevant experience in a nuclear facility work and maintenance environment Strong ability to lead and drive cultural change across an organization High familiarity with the ISO 55000 series of International Standards for Asset Management Preferred
Qualifications:
Recognized industry certification such as CMRP, RMIC, CRL Experience in maintaining assets in a nuclear facility and familiarity with Directive DOE G 433.
1-1 Management of teams with diverse skillsets and deliverables working toward a common set of goals This position will remain open for a minimum of 5 days after which it will close when a qualified candidate is identified and/or hired.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
