EOE/AA - M/F/Vet/Disability/Drug-Free Workplace SMSI, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Delivery Manager to support LANL Acquisition Services Management team.
Position located in Oak Ridge, TN.
The need is immediate.
Position is full-time.
As a direct report to the Procurement Director, the Project Delivery Manager shall be responsible for coordination between multiple disciplines (e.
g.
Quality Assurance, Engineering, Construction, etc.
) at various supplier facilities to ensure delivery of subcontract NQA-1 deliverables.
Position shall be based out of Oak Ridge, TN with travel as necessary to various supplier facilities located in the continental U.
S.
and supervision of four to six resident Delivery Managers assigned to supplier facilities.
Responsibilities:
Reports directly to the Procurement Director with additional operational reporting requirements to Project Management.
Management of multiple resident Delivery Managers located at supplier facilities.
Assisting in the development and maintenance of working relationships with project staff members and suppliers, at necessary levels, to meet subcontract commercial and technical.
Assisting or providing necessary guidance in resolving issues during the manufacturing of equipment including, but not limited to, those relating to design, supply chain, scheduling, and resources.
Reporting to Procurement and Project Management details of issues and proposed solution strategies.
Understanding and reviewing supplier schedules to ensure accuracy of activities and actual progress is reflecting correctly.
Development of mitigation/recovery strategy options Preparation of reports on fabrication status and associated supplier schedule activities.
Additional responsibilities as necessary.
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of NQA-1 quality requirements Competent in fabrication (including welding/machining), manufacturing, testing processes Competent with engineering, scheduling, and procurement practices Familiarity with glovebox supply chain Familiarity with FAR based subcontract terms and conditions Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of project personnel.

Completion a pre-employment drug screen and background check which includes verification of employment and education.
Educational Requirement:
Bachelor s degree from an accredited university and a minimum of 15 years of continuous professional experience, or at least 20 years of continuous professional experience if not degreed.
