CONTRACT ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST

Maintains agendas, meeting minutes and action item status for multiple federal integrated project teams.
Tracks and statuses incoming and outgoing correspondence and actions to ensure timely contractual responses.
Organizes material and completes editorial tasks according to established standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology.
Reviews project-related materials and recommends revisions or changes in format, content, and methods of document control based upon established project standards.
Maintains Microsoft SharePoint contract records and organizes files and contracting actions, including draft work products and revisions in accordance with established procedures and processes.
Assists with contracting activities to support the development of fee plans, evaluation of baseline change proposals and contract modifications.
Supports Senior Management Change Control Board and makes recommendations on Contracting Officer determinations.
Conducts assessments, surveillances and oversight activities of the M&O contractor's compliance with contract terms and conditions, including evaluation and applicability of current Department of Energy Acquisition Regulations (DEAR) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and adherence to the M&O's Organization Conflict of Interest Plan.
Develops draft contract administration documents, evolving and tracking contract performance measures, monitoring flow down of contract terms and conditions, and evaluation of proposed contract changes.
Participate in M&O contract meetings (e.
g.
Monthly Progress Briefings, Baseline Change Control Boards, Senior Management Change Control Board, Quality Assurance Assessments, Risk Management, etc.
) as part of Y-12 APMO oversight of the M&O contractor.
Coordinates weekly Contracting Officer's status meeting and develops/maintains workload tracking tool to ensure contract actions get completed timely.
Self-Starter with strong organization skills Understands how to manage multiple priorities and ensure that the highest priorities are taking precedence over other competing priorities Strong technical writing and editing skills.
Additional duties as directed.
Job Requirements Bachelor's degree from accredited institution 10 years' experience Proficient in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office programs such as EXCEL, Word, and PowerPoint Position may be required to obtain a DOE/NNSA Q Clearance Duration:
Direct Hire Federal Government Clearance:
This position may require the ability to obtain a government clearance.
This position may require reviews and test for absence of any illegal drugs along with a background investigation by the Federal government in order to obtain an access authorization prior to employment, and may require subsequent reinvestigations may be required.
