Summary:
Performs administrative duties for the Rapid Access Center Recruiter:

Responsibilities:
Assists UR coordinator with the functions of patient flow as needed.
At the direction of the UR Coordinator, places patients in the appropriate status based on SI/IS criteria.
Receives incoming calls and assists with patient placement.
Communicates necessary information to all caregivers.
Assists with completion of administrative acceptance form.
Ensures key measures are collected, entered and reported to all stakeholders at least quarterly and as requested.
Types, edits and proofs correspondence, policies etc.
and/or other general typing as directed, initiating other documents and correspondence as appropriate.
Maintains and organizes department files.
Maintains and orders office supplies as necessary.
Remains mentally alert and maintains concentration with attention to detail for prolonged periods, at times under stress.
Maintains adaptability, flexibility, initiative, persistence, and efficiency of time management and action.
Does not pose a direct threat to health or safety of self or others.
Provides safe, efficient, competent care to population assigned.
Meets MMC Environment of Care Standards.
Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Completes required education assignments annually.
Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
Performs other related duties as requested.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
None specified; will accept any combination of formal education and/or prior work experience sufficient to demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skill and ability needed to perform the essential tasks of the job, typically such as would be equivalent to a high school diploma or GED.
Preference may be given to individuals possessing a HS diploma or GED.
Minimum
Experience:
Three (3) to five (5) years clerical/administrative experience.
Licensure Requirement:
None 46-167b.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
