3 Oak Ridge, TN Oak Ridge, TN Full-time Full-time $15 - $17 an hour $15 - $17 an hour We are seeking a qualified Loan Assistant to join our team! Description/Responsibilities Meets with loan customers and help loan officers complete loans in a friendly and timely manner.
Prepares loans information packages in accordance with Bank guidelines.
Works directly and closely with loan processors.
Ensures timely movement and closing of approved loans through the pipeline.
Monitors loan status on a continual basis to ensure that timely standards are achieved.
Reviews all preliminary documents provided from attorney/title company to include but not limited to:
Title binder, Deed of Trust, and Closing Statements.
Complies with Banks Policies and Procedures, as well as regulatory compliance.
Keeps abreast of industry regulations and changes.
Others duties may be assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications Experienced in consumer and commercial loan processing with a Banking Background.
Has a complete understanding of Federal Regulations that pertain to lending.
Has previous experience with regulatory compliance.
Analytical and detailed oriented - is able to collect data, analyze and problem solve.
Job Knowledge - Competent in required job skills and knowledge; exhibits ability to learn and apply new skills.
Customer Service - Responds promptly to customer & co-workers needs; responds to requests for service and assistance.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
