Responsibilities can include collecting data from technicians, tracking open warranty repair orders on the work in process, processing warranty claims, tracking parts, assessing warranty coverage limits and report preparation.
They review Service Repair Work Orders for correct time charges and parts pricing per the manufacturer approved mandates Timely Submission for payment is critical Job Duties:
Prepares, submits and follows up on warranty claims Resubmits all rejected claims promptly, any rejected claim seek assistance from area Manager for assistance processing claims.
Process all warranty paperwork, ensuring proper documentation and verifies criteria required by factory or distributor Follow up with manufacturers to ensure claims are being processed properly Adjust and resubmit any denied claims to secure payment for warranty work Warranty Administrator is responsible for processing claims so the dealer is reimbursed by the manufacturer for warranty work performed Reconciling all warranty receivables and working with the accounting department to obtain payments weekly Processing all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation and verifying criteria required by factory or distributor Keeping abreast of all factory recalls and announcements Assisting with body shop warranty claims and following up on outstanding claims Complete Stellantis Certification Requirements training as quarterly Ensure proper documentation and verify criteria required by the factory within 2 days of receiving the repair order.
Maintain detailed notes about warranty issues Assist service advisors in closing all open warranty RO's Conduct weekly audits of warranty and schedules, reviewing all old claims, and address any adjustments or write-offs Provide a weekly report to the service manager regarding claim status Process all claims by next business day following RO close date Review every warranty repair order written for proper completion and accuracy Job Type:
