CoorsTek currently has an opportunity available for a talented Clean Room Associate I . This position will be located in Oakridge, TN .
Position Summary : Responsible for visually inspecting, cleaning, labeling and packaging product in a Clean Room environment.
Essential Functions :
Assists with customer packing and labeling of products.
Assists with product cleaning per procedures.
Gown and Glove for Class 1000 Clean Room duties.
Receive and stage parts for manufacturing into Clean Room.
Familiar with customer cleaning requirements.
Follows instructions and reports any deviation to lead/supervisor.
Maintains cleaning tanks, walls, tables, and fixtures in clean room.
Accurately completes required nonconformance reports.
Maintain and enforce entrance of controlled areas.
Responsible for proper contamination control.
Possesses the ability to use the computer system for basic departmental functions.
Understands and meets or exceeds quality standards; seeks to minimize reject rate.
Participates and supports continuous improvement efforts.
Must maintain acceptable level of performance.
Performs detailed oriented tasks using basic language and intermediate math skills.
Other Responsibilities :
Knows and follows all safety requirements; strives to maintain a safe work environment and reports potential hazards to lead or supervisor.
Assists in any and all areas as assigned.
Effectively gives and receives feedback; willingly asks questions and seeks direction, as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
May work any and all shifts/days as required.
Must be able to function within a team environment in an enclosed limited access area.
Maintains acceptable level of cleanliness in the work area and Clean Room.
Education, Training, and Skill Recommendations/Requirements :
High School Diploma preferred.
Must meet all training requirements as defined by department.
