Description:
Leidos has an opening for a Project Accountant Assistant in Oak Ridge, TN. The Project Accountant Assistant provides minor maintenance for established direct and indirect projects in the Costpoint system.
Provide direct project structure billing setup maintenance (Contracts, WIP) for existing projects
Update project structure according to rules per desktop procedures and based on direction by requestor and Corporate/ BU policy (Contracts, PC, PM, PA, Accounting Manager, A/R, Procurement, etc.)
QA project/contract data entry and set up
Correct set-up after peer review, as required
May support Internal Audit, D&T;, DCAA , SOX and self- audit requests
This role in the commercial org is responsible for invoicing activities including invoice generation, routing and distribution to customers, updates, and other invoicing and Accounts Receivable activities as assigned.
Initial assignment will be to support conversion activities and will include overtime through implementation.
Preference given to candidates with previous SAIC/Leidos experience.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, or a High School diploma and 6 years' experience.
Preference given to candidates with previous SAIC/Leidos experience.
