- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Network Engineering and at least five years demonstratable experience in network (LAN/WAN) configuration, monitoring, security and protection; OR 5 yrs full-time computer science work that can be substituted for the Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years additional demonstratable experierence described above. - Experience in Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers and VPN(IPSEC). - Experience in physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers, and security devices (Cisco-based). - Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stach and routing and switching protocols - Working Knowledge of L2/L3 protocols - Working Knowledge of stateful firewalls and L3 access controls - Ability to create diagrams using Vision and other documentation tools - Read and interpret system level diagrams
