SAIC has an opening for a Solutions Architect.
Lead responsibility for technical solution development; focus will be deep technical expertise in the ITMS Service Line with a desired expertise that spans multiple Service Lines. The optimal candidate is capable of juggling multiple priorities and tasks to support a larger team in the development of technical solutions across a spectrum of size and complexity.
Responsibilities Include:
1.
Technical solution and proposal development
Identifies technical solution requirements during capture phase based on Customer Group input
Develops technical solutions and proposals to meet customer technical, schedule and price rqmts
Verifies proposals meet customer requirements and provide best value for customers
Maximizes use of repeatable solutions and offerings when applicable for proposals
Provides technical expertise to customers during proposal reviews, as requested by CG
2.
Assistance in capture efforts
Provides technical expertise to BD organizations early in the capture phase to identify potential solutions or opportunities, as requested by CG
Provides subject matter expertise for technical issues arising during capture, as requested by CG
Develops white papers and briefings in support of capture efforts
Manages/coordinates development of executable BOEs during the Proposal Phase (large complex BOEs)
Supports customer meetings during capture shaping activities

Technical execution support
Provides technical expertise to the PM during program start-up
Assists in technical issue resolution as requested by the PM
Provides technical advising to customers as requested by the PM 4. Technical investment
Solicits Customer Group feedback and requirements as inputs to offerings and technology investments
Coordinates communication between Customer Groups and technical investment project staff
Identifies additional technologies and solutions that could benefit the entire organization
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND
Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field and 9
years related experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Requirements:
Diverse exposure to the business/services we provide as a company
Exposure and experience in technical solutioning and proposal development/correspondence
The ability to coordinate/orchestrate a team of writers/SME in the development of a solution for proposal efforts
Must be a U.S. citizen
