Engineering Technician

Engineering Technician will be responsible for installing, integrating, testing, and maintaining a complex, mission critical suite of hardware and other systems. Candidate will troubleshoot component-level failures and document them as appropriate. Candidate will work with software developers and Government personnel as needed for effectively resolving all system issues.
Required Skills and Education
Required education: Associates
Required Skills: Experience with the test and analysis of printed circuit board issues and making repairs as needed, electronics component repair, Linux commands, strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Candidates shall have an Associate's degree in computer technology or 2 years of full time work in a High Performance computer field that can be substituted for the AA degree. Candidates must have experience with an understanding of the concepts, procedures and guidelines to solve highly complex problems in the maintenance and hardware/software network infrastructure. Experience performing system set-up, experiments and diagnostics to evaluate printed circuite board exchanges and troubleshoot and make component repairs based on test results.
