Part-time position. Provide assistance to MMC HealthWorks staff and customers to include but not limited to:
Front desk duties to include answering phone, scheduling patients, checking patients in and out, preparing charts, filing. Invoicing, deposits, creating customized invoices, follow up on past due accounts, post all payments received. Run invoices weekly for mailing. Enter data for month end financial reports. Research ICD codes and HCPC codes for correct billiing, research denied claims for corrected billing. Daily data entry for compliance tracking. Process records requests from patients, employers, insurance companies and attorneys.Follow-up w/ noncompliant employees for scheduling workers comp visits. Maintain files for outside client authorizations for services. Order testing using hospital ordering system. Create various reports in Excel for administration or corporate. Send appointment reminders to outside clients.Email results to clients. Monitor corporate employee calendar for new hire employee appointments. Check voicemails daily. Attend quarterly employee meetings and safety fairs.
Responsibilities.Qualifications
Minimum Education: None specified; will accept any combination of formal education and/or prior work experience sufficient to demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skill and ability needed to perform the essential tasks of the job, typically such as would be equivalent to a high school diploma or GED. Preference may be given to individuals possessing a HS diploma or GED.
Minimum
Experience: A minimum of four (4) years' experience in an office, ER or Employee/Occupational Health. Must possess knowledge of general office etiquette and skills, and must demonstrate capability in use of computer. Billing, accounts payable and collection experience preferred.
Licensure Requirement: CPR is required. BAT, UDS, CAOHC, Spirometry certification preferred; Certification within 12 months of hire is required for BAT and UDS.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
