As a Transportation Management Specialist, you will:
Serve as a Command transportation mission planner and advisor providing authoritative transportation management expertise. Be responsible for the generating of, accountability of, dissemination of, destruction of, and records management of classified information pertaining to Transportation Control Network (TCN) activities. Contribute expertise to transportation studies to determine workload requirements and projections. Coordinate the utilization and maintenance of operational and non-operational equipment required for mission accomplishment. Utilize trip planning computer programs. Experience that demonstrates a knowledge of the transportation function (s) of the position to be filled. Experience in planning, coordinating, and scheduling the safe movement of nuclear weapons, components, and special nuclear materials within the U.S. through various transportation methods; comprehensive knowledge and experience using Transportation Control Network (TCN) operating procedures; and experience as a Nuclear Materials Courier that demonstrates in-depth knowledge of TCN operating procedures. Experience with Transportation Classified Network (TCN) Experience with records management of classified information pertaining to TCN activities; and Providing authoritative transportation management expertise and support to Command level and OST management to plan; and Coordinating operations involving the safe and secure transportation across the United States of special nuclear materials, weapons and weapons components, and test/training components. KSA-1 - Knowledge of Federal Laws, CFR 10 & 49, and Federal manuals TP45-51B, TP20-11 and Type B manual, which pertain to the transportation of nuclear materials, and components, in particular radioactive cargo, to ensure maximum safety of cargo during transport, applied in formalization of planning and scheduling operations required within the NNSA production complex. KSA-2 - Knowledge of DOE O 475.2B and DOE O 471.6 requirements that are essential to the protection and control of classified information. Proper marking of classified documents using current classification guides. KSA-3 - Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively in order to present and defend ideas and positions, and negotiate resolutions to issues and problems. KSA-4 - Knowledge of Federal Agent Operations is required to ensure compliance with sophisticated Transportation Control Network (TCN) safe/secure delivery systems unique classified safety/security procedures, and transportation requirements levied by other regulatory entities (DOT, DOE, DOD). KSA-5 - Working knowledge of the TCN classified computer system sufficient to develop and implement shipping itineraries and resource documents. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include:
volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
