As a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Classification), you will:
Serve as a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Classification) directing the classification program for the Human Resources Shared Service Center (SSC). Ensure the optimum use of manpower resources in accordance with the Office of Personnel Management and Department of Energy regulations, standards, policies, and precedents. Provide position management advisory services in dealing with routine, difficult, complex, and often controversial position management issues. Serve as a technical expert on classification, researching and analyzing specific issues and resolving difficult/unusual problems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSA qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
Experience using advanced HR principles and comprehensive classification principles, concepts, practices and procedures in a leadership capacity; and Experience conducting reviews and analyzing position management and classification program operations to include:
identifying deficiencies and measuring compliance, consistency, and effectiveness; and Experience providing written classification services to include structuring highly technical organizations/positions for mass reorganizations and realignments, providing classification metrics/reports, providing classification evaluation statements. providing documentation for classification audits and advisories; and Experience in classifying positions for organizations that are complex and dynamic. Knowledge of, and skill in applying, Federal classification laws, regulations, principles, practices, and procedures sufficient to make classification determinations and prepare sensitive correspondence on complex, delicate, or highly contested classification matters and determinations Knowledge of a wide range of HR concepts, practices, laws, regulations, policies, and precedents sufficient to evaluate comprehensive HR management advisory and technical services. Ability to exercise staff supervisory responsibility and to direct and administer an organization required to perform program/project activities, staff supervision and staff services. Ability to communicate orally and in writing sufficient to develop reports, and deliver briefings to management regarding recommendations based on analysis of programs and data. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include:
volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
